Sam Palmer drove in the go-ahead run to give Nauset JV Baseball the lead in the sixth inning, as Nauset JV Baseball hung on to beat Marshfield High School 6-5 on Wednesday.
With Nauset JV Baseball trailing by one in the sixth inning, Palmer came to the plate and doubled, plating Koki Riley and Conner Canesi.
Palmer racked up two RBIs on two hits for Nauset JV Baseball.
JP Dysart got the win for Nauset JV Baseball despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered eight hits.
The bottom of the second saw Marshfield High School take an early lead, 4-0. Nineteen started the rally for Marshfield High School with a single. Marshfield High School pushed more runs across when 32 scored on a walk by 25 and 12 and three scored on a two-run error.
After a quick strike from Nauset JV Baseball, Marshfield High School responded with one run in the fifth. Marshfield High School scored on an RBI single by four.
