POPE JOHN PAUL II HIGH SCHOOL, MA: 14
The first game of the season did not start off well for the Warriors. Connor Canesi started the game off with a single and stole second but would be left stranded at second. James Sandison got into a bases-loaded, no out jam but was able to strike out the next three batters in a row to escape trouble. The Warriors were not able to escape after that giving up 2 runs in the second, one in the third and 11 in the fourth. The bats were not any better as the Warriors could only muster 3 hits all game. The Warriors look to get their revenge when they complete the home-and-home series Wednesday (4/13) afternoon.
