Nauset played Hingham tight through four innings and then the bats came alive. Tied at ones, Nauset rifled off 8 straight hits before an out was recorded in the fifth inning. Nauset scored four more runs in the sixth inning as Nauset’s pinch hitters went 3-4 in the inning. Max Christopher pitched 5 innings giving up two runs on six hits walking one and striking out three. James Sandison pitched a perfect 6th inning to preserve the mercy rule.
