Nauset was defeated by Cape Cod Academy 4-1. Nick Majewski lost to CCA's talented #1 6-0, 6-3.Reed Jenkins at 2nd singles 6-2, 6-0 and Jarek Lenda at 3rd singles 6-3, 6-2 lost to good opponents. They showed vast improvement from their 2012 season. Tyler Mason and John Vitale looked good against a talented CCA 1st doubles team in a 7-5, 6-1 loss. It was their first match at #1 following a successful year at 2nd doubles last year. Nausets only win came at 2nd doubles where Senior Captain John Steinmetz and Junior Nick Long came out with a 6-2, 6-2 victory. We are optimistic after the match and looking forward to continuing improvement.
