North Attleboro 95 - Nauset 41

Nauset travelled to perennial D2 powerhouse North Attleboro on Tuesday. Despite falling to the Red Rocketeers, the warriors had some great early season performances.

Nauset won four events. On the track Chris Pombo won 400M Hurdles in 67.6, Tyreese Ferguson easily captured the 110M hurdles in 15.3 and Finn Riley bested the field in the two mile in 11:06.8. The warriors lone field event winner was Aidan Handville in the discus at 108’2”. Nauset had three solid PR’s that went for second place finishes. Shavar Champagne sped to 11.4 in the 100M, Tabin Brown clocked 23.2 in the 200M and Jacob Pearl had perhaps the most exciting race of the day. Despite getting edged his 2:01.8 was a solid early season effort in the 800M.

The relay of Pearl, T. Brown, Pombo and Logan Benz won the 4X400.

Multiple placements went to Richard Ramsay, Jacob Pearl and Bobby Freeman. Ramsay was 2nd in the long jump (18’9”) and third in the 100M (11.6). Besides his efforts in the 800M and 4x400M relay Pearl grabbed 3rd in the shot put.

Freeman was third in triple jump (37’3.5”) and placed third in high jump tying his lifetime best of 5’10”.
