Nauset boys upend Falmouth 81-55
Despite cold and windy weather the performances on the Nauset track continue to improve.
Seniors Ta-bin Brown and Bobby Freeman, along with sophomores Aidan Handville and Richard Ramsay led the Warrior assault.
Brown won both the 100 (11.2) and 200 (23.2) while adding a third place in high jump. Freeman won the high jump (5’4”) while taking second place in both the 400M and triple jump. Christian Augat picked up second in the 200M (24.3).
Handville PR’d in both his events, first tossing the javelin 131’11” and then heaving the discus 118’. Frosh Chad Wedderburn also showed great promise in those events with a PR 120’1” in javelin and a third place 83’9” in discus.
Ramsay competed in the triple jump for the first time and soared to Nauset’s best performance of the season at 39’2.5”. He led a sweep of the event as Freeman jumped 37’4.5” and Christian Augat added a third at 36’11.5”.
Tyreese Ferguson won by a large margin in the 110M hurdles at 15.4. Running all alone in the front of the 800M was Jacob Pearl with another outstanding effort of 2:01.8.
Also winning events were Chris Pombo (400M Hurdles - 69.3), Finn Riley (2 mile - 10:59.2) and Ben Calsson (mile - 5:12.3). Calsson narrowly edged teammate Noah Dziedzina (5:12.6).
Nauset also won the boys 4X400M relay with the team of Pooler, Logan Bentz, Finn, and Pearl
