From Today's Cape Cod Times (4/30/2012): 

 PEMBROKE – Nauset wrote the big story for the locals on Sunday in the MSTCA Division 3 Relays at Pembroke High School.

The Nauset girls 4x400 team of Jenny Layton, Molly Crowell, Allison Burns and Coralea Geraniotos also qualified for states with a 4:21, good for a sixth-place medal finish.  

The team was led off by freshman mile standout Coralea Geraniotis, who stepped down in distance to run a quick 65 second split.  She handed off to another freshman, Allison Burns who competed well and kept the squad on pace for a state qualifying time.  

Sophomore hurdler Jenny Leyton showed good speed in the flat 400, splitting a mark of 63 seconds and moved the team into 5th place in their heat.  Junior sprint captain Molly Crowell anchored the team in a blazing split of 61 seconds, moving them into 2nd place for their section and 6th overall in Division 3.  Just Crowell's second time trying a 400, she looked very strong throughout her split.
