On another cold and rainy day the ACL Championship crowned two Warriors in the Championship Meet at Plymouth South H.S. on May 22nd. Defending mile Champ Corolea Geraniotis, controlled the pack in the first three laps and broke away in the final lap to win 5:26:93. Andrew Burke ran strong and steady with a winning time of 1:59.21 in the 800.

Other strong performances of the day saw the following athletes finish in the top six in the finals.

After running a PR in the preliminaries, junior Shaye Ellard, placed 4th in the 100 with 13.81.

Competing in the 110h, 400 hand the high jump, sophomore Jack Norgeot ultimately earned a PR in the high jump placing 6th 5'2".

In the 200 boys junior, Nate Overton, placed 4th in the 200 with 23.67 and girls freshman, Marielle McEnaney came in 3rd with a time 27.62. Marielle also competed in the javelin, earning 2nd with an 89'2" throw.

Senior Chris Wingard, finished his high school career with a PR time of 53.97 in the 400m .

In the 800m, boys junior, Jordon Dash, placed 6th in the 800 with a PR time of 2:14.74. and girls sophomore Callie Schadt, finished a 3rd place PR 92:29.130 and a junior, Alison Burns finished 5th with 2:32.27.

Junior ,Peter Kelsey, earned PR's in the high jump and long jump and placed 6th in the discus with a season best of 103'9".

Completing the Championship meet, the girls 4x800 relay team finished 3rd, Coralea Geraniotis,Callie Schadt, Alison Burns and Sydney Wacht and the 4x100 finished 6th, Ellie Hartmann, Livi Bois, Marielle McEnaney and Shaye Ellard
