The Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Team continued to play with great energy and lost a tough 2-1 game to league rival D-Y. The deciding goal was scored with just 3 minutes left in the contest.

The Crusading /Warriors came out with great tenacity and played a strong first period with great chances from the likes of Blue Fancy, Brianna Cowing, Lauren Monger and Cathryn Ready. Defensemen Elsa LaLone, Kim Gallagher, Lexi Griffin and Darby Gavin held the fort and Goalie Jess Grindell made  numerous stunning saves.

Freshman Lalone took a pass from Brianna Cowing and whistled a 40 footer that the D-Y goalie never saw to tie things up and serve notice that the dolphins were in for a battle. Lalone was a force at both ends of the ice , and wing Britney Worth also played a strong game
