For One Period the girls Ice Hockey Team held a well balanced Pembroke Squad at bay , and then the ice tilted to the crusading warriors end. Lack of defensive responsibility became the norm .

Pembroke opened the scoring just over two minutes into the contest and the home squad did'nt panic as 30 seconds later , Blue Fancy tied it up on a end to end rush. A soft goal by by the Titans put them up 2-1 leading into intermission.

The start of the 2nd period saw pretty much equal play for the first five minutes  but Pembroke then began to use a low zone scramble that the home team did just not find a way to defend.

Down 6-1  , the only bright spot of the second half of the game for the team came on a Fancys second goal of the game with assists going to Elsa Lalone and Lauren Monger. Goalies Jess Grindell and Emily Silvestri made a combined 38 stops on the night.
