Nauset sophomore Coralea Geraniotis has qualified for the MIAA All State Meet after a 5th place finish in the 2 Mile run at the Division 3 Indoor Track and Field Championships this past Thursday.  Geraniotis is the first Warrior track athlete in school history represent Nauset at the indoor All State Championship, which will be held on Saturday, February 23 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, MA.  The All State meet is the final and most prestigious high school indoor track meet of the season, combining all divisions and regions in Massachusetts to bring together the top 24 athletes in each event.  Earlier this season, Coralea shattered the 21 year old Nauset school record in the 2 mile with a time of 11:39 en route to an ACL League Championship in the event.  As only a sophomore, Geraniotis will face stiff competition Saturday afternoon in a field headlined by Julie McConville of Hingham, who is the Massachusetts State 2 Mile record holder and currently ranks third in the U.S. in the event.
