Colder temperatures prevailed but it did not prevent the warriors from moving quickly with and without the ball. Combinations, thru balls, switches kept the Sandwich squad guessing and on the back foot. Aiden Kelly struck first off of a box scramble resulting from an Owen Wilcox corner.  Minutes later Vance Bates took full advantage of the bodies at the 18  screening the keeper and placed the ball low through legs and into the side netting making it 2-0 for the half.  Ten minutes into the second half Ryan Pish shielded the ball at the 25, then used the outside of his right foot to turn the ball toward goal and struck with the left to send the ball sailing over the head of the keeper and into the back of the net.  Eric Sargysan was effective in the back and in the midfield.  Gabe Siva played well at outside back.  Conor Canesy and Jake Eldridge shared credit for the shut out.
