Freshman boys soccer dropped their first match of the season 0-4 to an outstanding Barnstable team. The game was tied 0-0 midway through the 2nd half thanks to outstanding goalkeeping from Mason Elsasser. The defense, led by Lincoln Burhoe, Daniel Bean, and Evan Melano, was exceptional and kept things close until the final 10 minutes after which Barnstable scored their last 3 goals. Jack Verde was excellent in the midfield for the Warriors.
