JV BOYS GOLF INFO

8/26/10 -  First practice. 

Any golfer who did not play Varsity golf last year (including Freshmen) should be at Captain's Golf Course Practice range at 3:15 with their golf clubs.  Please wear a collared shirt.  Any golfers who warrant a Varsity tryout will be invited to play 9 holes that day with the returning Varsity team.  Everyone else will be done by 3:45.  If you are not selected to try out for varsity, you will start golf on the first day of school.

8/31/10 - Parents' meeting 7pm

Mandatory meeting at Nauset High School for all fall athlete parents.  Golf will have their own meeting starting around 7:30.

9/1/10 - Concussion baseline testing

At 8am, all golfers (Varsity and JV) must be at the HS for important testing for concussions.  This is mandatory.

9/7/10 - First day of school

The JV golf team will meet in room A 111 at 2pm, and we will then board the van for a trip to the "Tee Time" practice range in Eastham.  We will return to the High School by 3:15 pm that day.  Pickup is behind the gym.

9/8/10 - First day at the course

We will leave the school at 2:15 pm in a van to head to Chequessett golf course in Wellfleet, our home course.  We will play 9 holes that day.  Collared shirts are mandatory for practice each day.  We will return to the school around 6pm each day.  Pickup is behind the gym.  Players can be picked up at the course if that is more convenient.  This will be our normal practice schedule

Practices will be monday-thursday, and a match schedule will be available soon.
