If you are interested in playing a high school spring sport, we offer softball, baseball, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, girls tennis, boys tennis, girls golf, sailing, track & field and unified track & field.*Participation numbers will dictate how many levels (varsity/jv/freshman) REGISTRATION IS OPENIn order to play a spring sport, you must register on FamilyID HERE. MIAA Bona Fide Team Member Rule
PART IV: RULES AFFECTING AN INDIVIDUAL STUDENT-ATHLETE OR COACH 45. Loyalty to the High School Team: Bona Fide Team Members I A bona fide member of the school team is a student who is consistently present for, and actively participates in, all high school team sessions (e.g. practices, tryouts, competitions). Bona fide members of a school team are precluded from missing a high school practice or competition in order to participate in a non-school athletic activity/event in any sport recognized by the MIAA. Students cannot be given special treatment (late arrival, early dismissal, etc.) for non-school athletic programs. First Offense: Student athlete is suspended for 25% of the season (see chart on Rule 62). Second Offense: Student athlete is suspended for an additional 25% of the season, and is ineligible for tournament play immediately upon confirmation of the violation. Boys Freshman Soccer suffer first defeat
Boys Freshman SoccerFreshman boys soccer dropped their first match of the season 0-4 to an outstanding Barnstable team. The game was tied 0-0 midway through the 2nd half thanks to outstanding goalkeeping from Mason Elsasser. The defense, led by Lincoln Burhoe, Daniel Bean, and Evan Melano, was exceptional and kept things close until the final 10 minutes after which Barnstable scored their last 3 goals. Jack Verde was excellent in the midfield for the Warriors.

Boys Junior Varsity SoccerReed Diil scores 2, JV boys soccer remains undefeated with 6-0 win vs Monomoy. Andrew Drake scored the match-winner midway through the first half. Patrick Ellsasser, Cooper Ruffner, and Cole Scott-Tunstall, also scored for the Warriors. Mason Ellsasser posted the shutout in net with lots of help from his back four of Lincoln Burhoe, Evan Melano, Daniel Bean and Arthur Figueiredo. Jack Verde had a solid game controlling the midfield and added an assist.

Boys Junior Varsity SoccerFreshman lead the way in tight 3-2 JV boys soccer win. First half goals by Cole Scott-Tunstall '26 and Jack Verde '26 gave the Warriors a 2-0 lead at the half. After a Sandwich goal, Reed Dill '26 scored for the 2nd straight game to make it 3-1. Mason Ellsasser '27 was outstanding in net, especially in the 2nd half, as Sandwich pushed for a tying goal.

Girls Junior Varsity Field HockeyNauset JV faced a speedy Barnstable team. Second and third-quarter goals from Mia Krivos '25 and Taylor Beer '24 were not enough to keep the Warriors ahead of the 5 goals that snuck past goalie Deakan Acromano '23. Acromano made 12 saves on the night.

Girls Varsity SwimmingThe Nauset Girls Swimming and Diving picked up their first victory of the season 95-72 against St. John Paul. Kaitlin Bohannon, Alexia Colella, and Abby Ricciardi all won 4 events on the day. Bohannon was victorious in the 100 fly (1:11.34) and the 100 Backstroke (1:09.41). Colella won the 200 IM (2:41.50) and the 100 Free (1:04.74) which Riccardi took the 50 Free (28.59) and the 500 Free (6:30.49). Delaney Smith won 1m Diving in 207.95 qualifying for states in the process. Ricciardi, Bohannon, and Colella combined with Catie Crowell to win the 200 Medley Relay in 2:13.85 and the 400 Free Relay in 4:21.59. Alex Lilly, Frankie Lilly, Delaney Smith and Alyssa Silva took the 200 Free Relay in 2:08.13. The girls are currently 1-0 and take on Nantucket on 1/14

Boys Varsity SwimmingThe Nauset Boys got their first win of the season with a 92-60 victory over St. John Paul. John Szucs and Dory Carlson each picked up 2 victories while Tim Johnson qualified for 2 more events for states during the meet. Szucs won the 50 freestyle in a personal best 24.85 and the 100 Backstroke in 1:07.50. Carlson won the 100 Freestyle in 56.06 and the 100 Breaststroke in 1:13.02. Johnson placed second in the 200 Freestyle with a state qualifying 1:55.08 and won the 100 butterfly in 56.35, also a state qualifying time. Ethan Calouro won the 500 Freestyle in a personal best 6:38.88. Johnson, Carlson, Szucs and Tak Decker combined to win the 200 Medley Relay in a seasons best 1:55.25 and and Decker, Jack Fettig, Tristan Miller, and Ethan Calouro won the 400 Free Relay in 4:42.15. The Nauset boys are now 1-0 and take on Nantucket on 1/14

Girls Varsity SwimmingNauset Girls finished 3rd at the 14th Annual Cape Cod Classic behind Nantucket and Barnstable. The Girl's were led by Freshman Kaitlin Bohannon. Kaitlin placed 3rd in the 200 Individual Medley with a South Sectional Qualifying time of 2:26.19. She also added a 3rd place in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:07.66. Abby Ricciardi placed 5th in the 200 Free and 4th in the 100 Free with a personal best time of 1:02.60. Alexia Colella added a 4th in the 50 Free (29.28) and a 6th in the 100 Fly (1:15.65). Catie Crowell placed 6th in both the 200 Free and 100 Free. Bohannon, Ricciardi, Colella, and Crowell combined to place 4th in the 200 Free Relay (1:53.21) and 2nd in the 400 Free Relay (4:16.14). The team of Alyssa Silva, Liz Norton, Alex Lilly and Delaney Smith placed 8th in the 200 Medley Relay. Smith won the 1 meter diving event with a score of 204.65. Delaney was named Girls' Diver of the meet for the 3rd year in a row!

Boys Varsity SwimmingNauset's Boys placed 3rd overall behind Nantucket and Sandwich at the 14th annual Cape Cod Classic. They were led by Freshman Tim Johnson. Tim placed 2nd in the 200 Individual Medley (2:09.14) and 1st in the 100 Backstroke (57.39). Both times are South Sectional and Division 2 State Qualifying times. His time in the 100 Backstroke was a new Cape Cod Classic Meet Record. Senior Captain Dory Carlson added a 3rd place in the 100 Breaststroke with a personal best of 1:11.66 and 4th in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 24.85. Sophomore John Szucs placed 4th in both the 200 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle with personal best times of 2:02.39 and 5:46.32 respectively. Johnson, Carlson, and Szucs were joined by Sophomore Tristan Miller to place 3rd in the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:42.64 and Sophomore Ethan Calouro to place 2nd in the 400 Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:53.49. Boys Varsity SwimmingThe Nauset Swimming and Diving Team opened their season by finishing second in the Cape & Islands League Relay Carnival behind a powerhouse Nantucket team. Nauset won two events on the day placing first in the 200 yard Backstroke relay in a time of 1:59.02 with the team of Sophomore John Szucs, Freshman Kaitlin Bohannon, Sophomore Alexia Colella, and Freshman Tim Johnson. In a historic moment for the Nauset Swimming and Diving Program Delaney Smith and Bella Hay also won the 1 meter diving relay with a combined score of 220.30 points. This is the first time in the 20 plus year history of the event Nauset has won the diving relay.

Girls Varsity Cross Country- Div. 2 All-State Meet
Girls Varsity Cross CountryGardner, MA The Nauset girls competed in the Div. 2 MIAA ALL-STATE meet at the Gardner Municipal Golf Course on Nov. 16th. After qualifying (only top 4 teams advance) and placing 4th overall at the Eastern, MA Divisionals in Wrentham Nov. 9th, the girls ran exceptionally well in Gardner placing 9th as a team. One spot better than last year's #10 finish. In a talented field which featured Carmel Fitzgibbon of Weston who crossed the line as the Div 2 State Champion in 18:30, the Nauset girls placed 3 in the top 51. (176 finishers) Abby Farrell 29th, Izzy Nobili 37th and Ella Kelly 51st were the first 3 in for Nauset. Rebekah Pranga 114, and Makayla Hutchinson 133, were Nauset's #4 and #5 runners in, each helping the team to the 9th place finish. Girls Varsity Cross Country- Cape and Islands League Championships DY High School
Girls Varsity Cross CountryThe Nauset Girls XC team closed out the regular season on top as they took the overall win today at the Cape and Islands XC League Championships. Nauset 39, Barnstable 59, Sandwich 68, MV 86, and Falmouth 132 rounded out the top 5 teams. Host DY put on an exciting and organized race. It was a 6 race format with JV races going off at 10:30 am and Varsity races (both big school division and small) staggered in 30 minute waves. Co-Captains Abby Farrell and Izzy Nobili fought strong head winds and led the field for most of the race with Sandwich's Emma Eastman on their heels. Eastman, however, came away with the overall individual win as she out kicked the Nauset duo in the final stretch. All was not lost however, as today's race was truly a team event. Girls Varsity Cross Country vs. Rising Tide Charter Public School
Girls Varsity Cross CountryThe Nauset GXC team beat Rising Tide 18-39 at Morton Park in Plymouth. The 3.25 mile course was set inside the park on a beautiful foot path with breathtaking views of "Little Pond". The runners ran two laps around the pond with the boys starting first and the girls staggered 5 minutes behind. Abby Farrell and Izzy Nobili took the first two spots running together throughout the race posting 22:31 and 22:33 respectively. The next two runners in were Makayla Hutchinson 3rd in 23:40 and Rebekah Pranga 4th in 23:49. RT placed 5th, 7th and 8th with CCA taking 6th. Nauset's Leah Hoopes and Maddie Kelly placed 9th and 10th both posting 25:57. Katie Farrell placed 14th in 27:50. There were 20 runners in the girls race including the three teams: Nauset, Rising Tide and Cape Cod Academy. CCA did not have 5 runners so therefore couldn't count in the team scores.
