Nauset scored 2 late goals in the first half to break a long 0-0 deadlock, which was all they needed as they beat Harwich, away, 2-0. Senior Tyler Savonen led the offense with one goal, and one assist. Sophomore Zach Altneu buried a cross from Tyler Savonen very soon after entering the game, to give Nauset a 1-0 lead. Minutes later, right before halftime, Tyler Savonen scored on a brilliant individual effort to lock up the win. Nauset dominated the second half, with freshman sensation keeper Bruce Johnson recording his first shutout. Nauset received great effort and brilliant play from center midfielder Ben Czuchra. Coach John McCully recognized senior defender Ben Altneu as Man of the Match, anchoring a very strong defense, letting up very few shots.
