The Warriors came back from a 2-0 first half, and 3-1 second half deficit to pull out a crucial Atlantic Coast League win. Senior captain, forward Tyler Savonen led the way with 2 goals, and senior captain, center back Ben Altneu made the difference with 1 goal and 1 assist. The senior captains carried the team on their back in a relentless second half effort, never giving up. Junior Midfielder Ben Czuchra had 2 assists, and Senior Will Case assisted on Ben Altneu's goal. Nauset dug themselves a hole defensively with a few letups in the first half, yet the senior captains would not be denied a win at Marshfield. Ben Altneu assisted from a free kick to a James McLeod header to bring Nauset into the second half with a 2-1 deficit and a lot of momentum. Tyler Savonen scored his second goal to win the game with 3 minutes left. A tremendous effort from all of Nauset set the tone for two key ACL matches next week. The Warriors stay undefeated, improving to 5-0-1 (3-0 ACL).
