PLYMOUTH SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Warriors kicked off Homecoming Week by rallying late to beat the Plymouth South Panthers in the second meeting of the ACL rivals, by a score of 3-1. This win also sent Nauset playing into November, as they received the points necessary to qualify for the Division 1 State tournament, and now makes every game important as to better seeding in the tournament, and stay in the running for the Atlantic Coast League title. James McLeod scored on a beautiful through ball on the ground from Jimmy Quigley, and Tyler Savonen finished a Jake Moore cross with a strong header. Cody Savonen wrapped up the game late, on an assist from Ben Czuchra. Nauset dug themselves a hole in the first half with a truly lackluster effort, but tied the game late in the first half, and then took complete control of the second half. Nauset improves to 9-1-1 (7-1-0 ACL), and will face Bishop Stang on Friday for the Homecoming game, in an important non-league match.
