NORTH EASTHAM – The Warriors celebrated homecoming in style, handing the Spartans their first loss of the season in a tournament-game atmosphere.
James McLeod opened the scoring early, and senior captain Tyler Savonen closed the first half with his 16th goal of the season on an assist from Ben Czuchra.
Cody Savonen, assisted by his brother Tyler, completed the scoring for the Warriors (10-1-1) with a goal in the second half.
Nauset coach John McCully said the team played with a sense of urgency after a lackluster performance last week, and came back with its best effort of the year.
Seniors Will Case, Ben Altneu and Jimmy Quigley proved themselves once again on the field, and star freshman keeper Bruce Johnson notched his fourth shutout of the season
