Nauset orchestrated another thrilling comeback to beat Dennis Yarmouth, on Thursday, 6-5. Senior Tyler Savonen carried the team on his back with 4 goals and 1 assist. Also contributing were Junior Chambers with 2 assists, and Roma Naumov with one goal. The entire team struggled in the absence of senior captain, defender Ben Altneu who missed his first ever game at Nauset High in 4 years. Nauset received solid midfield play from JImmy Quigley, Jake Moore, and Ben Czuchra. Nauset got down in the first minute on a quick goal by DY, but never gave up, tying the game and winning it with minutes to spare. With this last ACL game, Nauset finishes up league play 2nd to Sandwich, at 10-22, and are overall 14-2-1. Nauset closes up the regular season with their final non-league game, away against Barnstable on Saturday, October 30th.
