PLYMOUTH NORTH HIGH SCHOOL: 3
Nauset won in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the 7th as Garrett Montgomery delivered. Down 3-2, the Warriors had men on 2nd and 3rd with two outs as Garrett stepped to the plate. He put a ground ball in play to the shortstop whose throw drew the first baseman off the bag allowing Trevor Ridley to score and tie the game. Amidst some arguing and confusion from the opposing team, Jon Martinez showed he was awake as he slowly crept down the third base line, eventually scoring the game winning run. Kino Gray pitched well for Nauset, allowing only 2 runs over 7 innings of play. Sam Majewsky walked, singled, and scored one run. Trevor Ridley had two singles and scored the game-tying run. Jon Martinez had a clutch double in the bottom of the 7th, and later scored the game-winning run.
