Nauset’s Team Gold started out their season with an impressive win against DY 15-2. The team belted out 11 hits, walking 9 times and only striking out twice. Liam Handville lead the team with three hits, while Kaeden Quinn and Chris Beach each had two. Max Christopher (1-0) pitch well for his first win of the season. He spread out 6 hits, 3 walks, two strikes and two unearned runs over four innings. Both runs become unearned as the crossed the plate on throwing errors. John Purcell came in relief and closed the door hard, recording five strikeouts, 2 hits and one walk in his three innings of work. The team is back in action on Wednesday as they play host to the Clippers of Falmouth at 4pm.
